DIY: metal cone lantern

The week of DIY’s is coming to a close after today so I only have a couple more to share with you.
This one is a great Christmas DIY made from a metal sheet and some very basic tools.
You’ll need:
sheet metal (from most craft stores)
strong scissors
pencil & string (for making the 1/4 circle)
LED candle
I started by cutting two 1/4 circles which you can do by starting in the corner of the metal, tie the string to you pencil and pivot to make the circular edge. Then cut out the piece and carefully shape until you get a cone. The metal keeps its shape to tuck one end under the other & it will stay.
Use a flameless, LED battery operated candle to keep the metal from getting too hot or just leave them without!

AMM was created as a way to share my aesthetics with the world. Stunning interiors instigated my passion for beautiful, extraordinary, and simple shapes. I was largely influenced by Nordic design philosophy and AMM transitioned from a personal blog into my own collection of interiors, things, visual trends, DIY projects, lifestyle products, and observations. As an interior design aficionado, I would love to see like-minded people, so stay tuned!

We will be happy to hear your thoughts
