Diamond lights

For those of you who follow me on IG, you might remember this or this when I had made a series of paper geo shapes for the String shelf in our bedroom including a paper diamond. I’ve had this idea churning in my head and decided to give it a try this past weekend.
I used some vellum paper & this template + instructions to make the diamond shape. Then I sprayed the diamond with silver spray paint, mostly on one side to leave the other still sort of opaque. Finally I cut a cross shaped slit at the top and put them over the lights. When the lights are on the diamonds glow since the paper is slightly sheer.
